Good story in today's Wall Street Journal about how design and fashion have changed  the PC industry, thanks to Apple.  It's evident in retrospect that what turned Apple around was its unique ability to couple great design with great marketing.  So even though Dell and HP are trying to catch up with Apple on the design front, they still have a way to go...and of course once they get close, Apple will unleash another innovation that will have them all scrambling again.
